PREHISTORIA LA EDAD DE PIEDRA
No podemos menos que felicitar a Playmobil por su nueva serie sobre la edad de piedra. Nos hemos quedado sorprendidos de la cantidad de detalles y nuevas piezas que se han incorporado a esta serie, tanto en figuras y animales como en accesorios y escenarios.
1) RIGOR HISTÓRICO
No encontramos ningún elemento más valorable en un juguete que la capacidad de añadir a la función de entretener la de aprender. En este caso, la ayuda para que nuestros hijos comprendan y se interesen por nuestros orígenes e historia es impagable. La idea de representar tanto al hombre de Neardental como al de Cromagnon me parece algo que va más allá de la simple idea del cavernícola. Perfectamente estas cajas podrían estar expuestas sustituyendo algún diorama explicativo en un museo arqueológico.
2) FIGURAS
Las cajas representan dos clanes de hombres primitivos Cromagnon y Neandertal. Los Neardentales son más abundantes en número que los Cromagnon. Hay muy pocas mujeres en relación con los hombres, por lo que parece que están más orientadas a aventuras de caza y lucha.
3) ANIMALES
Maravillosos mamuts, dos adultos y una cría; un oso, dos lobos y dos preciosos tigres de dientes de sable (Smilodon). Además se pueden incluir otros animales que coexistieron en aquella época: bisontes, renos, venados, alces, jabalíes, cabras…. y que Playmobil ya ha fabricado.
En los mamuts, se nota que cada vez más se diseñan juguetes huecos, de poco peso. Algunas cajas se quedan un poco cortas de piezas.
4) ACCESORIOS
Lo bueno de Playmobil es que se pueden utilizar y combinar utensilios de otras épocas como cuencos y pieles. Pero lo realmente bueno es que siempre algo novedoso. Las lanzas, hachas y las esquirlas de piedra y hueso son sencillamente fantásticas.
5) ESCENARIOS
Totalmente novedosos. La pena es que se siguen mezclando sistemas de conexión entre las piezas que algún caso dificultan su unión o ampliación con piezas ya existentes. No obstante, es un acierto permitir el uso de las bases en las dos orientaciones. Otro problema añadido es la dificultad para desmontar y montar las piezas más grandes. No se ha tenido en cuenta que son juguetes que se suelen guardar en cajas y que los niños tienen que poder montar y desmontar con facilidad.
La pieza que puede quedar para otros usos de manera más sencilla es la base de la piel de mamut.
Otro aspecto negativo, es la falta de vegetación. En mi opinión deberían haber sido más generosos con los árboles.
6) EXTRAS
Playmobil ya comercializa un sobre sorpresa con una madre Cromagnon y una familia Neardental en el DS alemán. Perfecto.
Estoy seguro que podrían vender sin ninguna dificultad alguna otra combinación. ¿Qué tal este animal?
Creo que es un momento perfecto para recuperar el mítico 7096.
7) VALORACIÓN
Excelente colección de piezas y figuras realizada con gusto y rigor. Superable, como siempre por cualquier nueva iniciativa de Playmobil y que puede tener recorrido a futuro en pequeñas dosis.
PREHISTORIC STONE AGE
We can only congratulate Playmobil for his new series on the stone age. We've been amazed at the amount of detail and new parts that have been incorporated into this series, both in animals and figures and accessories and settings.
1) HISTORICAL ACCURACY
We found nothing more valuable in a toy that the ability to add to the entertainment features of learning. In this case, they help our children to understand and to be interested in our origins and history. The idea of representing both Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon man goes beyond the simple idea of a caveman. Ideally, these boxes could be exposed replacing a diorama in an archaeological museum.
2) FIGURES
The boxes represent two clans of Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal primitives. The Neanderthals are more abundant in number than the Cro-Magnon ones. There are very few women in relation to men, so they seem more focused on hunting adventures and struggle.
3) ANIMALS
Wonderful Mammoths, two adults and one calf, a bear, two wolves and two beautiful saber-toothed tigers (Smilodon). Can also include other animals that coexisted at the time: Bison, elk, deer, elk, wild boar, mountain goat ....
The mammoths are designed hollow lightweight. Some boxes are a bit short of parts.
4) ACCESSORIES
The good thing about Playmobil is that you can use and combine the past utensils such as bowls and skins. But the really good news is always something new. The spears, axes, flint and bone are simply fantastic.
5) LANDSCAPE
Totally new. The pity is that systems are still mixing the pieces connecting some cases hinder their union or expanding existing pieces. However, it is great to allow the use of bases in the two orientations. Another problem is the difficulty to disassemble and assemble the larger pieces. Not taken into account that they are toys that are usually stored in boxes and children must be able to assemble and disassemble easily.
The most useful piece is the mammoth skin basis.
Another negative aspect is the lack of vegetation. In my opinion, they should have been more generous with the trees.
6) ADD ONS
Playmobil also sell a Cro-Magnon mother as a surprise box and Neanderthal family in the German DS. Great. I'm sure they could sell without any difficulty new combinations in superset or special format. What about more prehisotric animals. It's time for the return of the legendary 7096.
7) ASSESSMENT
Excellent collection of pieces and figures made with taste and rigour. Surmountable, as always for any new initiative of Playmobil.
